Welcome to our Berghaus — one of the oldest wooden houses built in the Carinthian style in the hills surrounding Lake Turracherhöhe. Our chalet is located in the hiking and skiing area of the Nockberge mountains, right by the lifts Sonnenbahn and Weitentallift and only a 5-minute walk from the village in a quiet and sunny hillside location.
Being at an altitude of 1,750 metres, the area is among the most reliably snowy in Austria during the winter months. In summer, you will find lots of beautiful hiking trails that invite you to explore the area. Enjoy the cosiness of our chalet in its excellent location: central and yet quiet amid the three crystal clear lakes of the Turracherhöhe mountain region.
At an altitude of 1,750 metres above sea level, the resort of Turracherhöhe is one of the areas in Austria with the most reliable snow conditions. Summer holidaymakers benefit, above all, from the numerous hiking trails along the Nock Mountains.
